The TOPR Tatra Search And Rescue Foundation was established in 1990 in order to support mountain search and rescue carried out by Tatra Volunteer Search and Rescue. In year 2010 it received the status of Public Benefit Institution and obtained the possibility of receiving support from 1% of personal income tax.

The main objectives of the Foundation include:

  • developing mountain search and rescue in Tatra mountains
  • supporting development of technical facilities and also the facilities for the TOPR helicopter
  • purchasing equipment and hardware used for specialist rescue
  • popularizing the issue of safety in the mountains, e.g. through organizing various trainings and patronage over the Akademia Górska TOPR (TOPR Mountain Academy) event

We encourage you to become familiar with the Foundation’s activity and provide it with financial support.
